"What are you looking at?"
This little lake seems so beautiful, but it is not what it seems like. This is one of gudron lake in Slovakia close to Banská Bystrica. FYI, Gudrons are byproducts, waste arising from cleaning, removal of undesirable impurities from fuel/oil. These pitch originates in 1964 and since then nothing has been done with it. I am standing by the pitch that is about 11000 square meters and contains hundreds of cubic metres of gudron.
Thanks to waste of cable oil, the reflection of the surrounding radiant autumn colours are better than a mirror.
